We are delighted to present some very special news from the medermis clinics network: on 19 November 2025, Prof. Bernd Kardorff, renowned dermatologist at the Dorittke & Kardorff dermatology practice, will publish the 4th edition of his standard work ‘Gesunde Haut – Haut und Hautkrankheiten von A bis Z’ (Healthy skin – skin and skin diseases from A to Z).

In this work, Prof. Kardorff explains key terms in dermatology: from classic eczema and psoriasis to rarer diseases. Each entry offers expert definitions, clinical characteristics and modern treatment recommendations. The book is aimed equally at medical professionals, students and interested laypeople who want to deepen their knowledge of skin health.

Prof. Dr. Kardorff is a specialist in dermatology, venereology, allergology, environmental medicine and acupuncture. He has distinguished himself through numerous innovations throughout his career. He co-founded one of the first laser clinics, developed a neurodermatitis skin model and established modern therapies such as the 308 nm excimer laser for neurodermatitis, psoriasis and vitiligo. In addition, Prof. Kardorff has been scientifically active for many years, has authored numerous publications and has already published several standard works in the field of dermatology.
